My Thoughts: This one is an “oldie but a goodie,” and it was great to re-read it recently! The Georgia Nicholson series really finds its brilliance in its absolutely laugh-out-loud hilarity. These have me laughing so hard I cry, so if you are in the mood for a light read, or something to pick your spirits up, these are a great option. It’s like a young adult version of Bridget Jones’ Diary.
Themes include: Growing up, friendship, family, budding sexuality, physical maturation.
Awards/Honors: Michael L. Printz Honor Book, ALA Best Fiction for Young Adults
