The Inside Out Book Tag

inside-out

I was nominated for the Inside Out Book Tag by Raven @ Dreamy Addictions (like forever ago but I finally got to do it!). Raven’s Blog is really wonderful, I highly recommend checking it out!

A book that brings you joy!

These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner. This book brings a smile to my face when I read it, because the interactions between the two main characters are so funny and later so sweet. Its YA Science Fiction with Romance and I just love it so much.

A book that scares you!

I actually could not think of a single book to put here because I really REALLY don’t like scary stories. I can’t think of a single horror or truly scary book I’ve read recently!

A book that disgusts you!

Oh theres so very many books to take a crack at for this one. I suppose the easy answer is 50 Shades of Grey. More for the strange writing choices the author made than anything. I haven’t actually read the whole thing, but hearing the main character refer to her “inner goddess” is pretty disgusting to me.

A book that makes you sad 😦

Hmm this is a hard one too because I really HATE to be sad, I usually read to cheer me up which is why I usually stick with romances or science fiction/fantasy. You USUALLY can expect a happy ending with those. I guess one that recently made me sad was The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian because the character gets bullied quite a bit and that always makes me sad. But the book is phenomenal! I highly recommend it.

A book that makes you angry!

Well, I recently received an ARC for a book that I thought was going to be awesome and it ended up being a complete let down in all ways, so that made me a little bit angry. Its called A Whole New World by Liz Braswell. Click the link to see my review. It was marketed as a YA Dystopian re-telling of Disney’s Aladdin and its premise was awesome but the book itself was a complete disappointment.

I shall tag the last 5 blogs I followed!

  1. Nice Answers! These broken stars is one of my favorite book and I totally agree with you on 50 shades of grey. It’s not only you, almost everyone has been disappointed by A whole New World by Liz Braswell. Anyways, Thank you so much for participating! 😀
