I’m writing this post early so I don’t know if Mockingjay Part II has come out by now or not, but I will (or did) see this the night it is released, for sure. I love these books and movies!

This one, again, is listed on imdb.com as “in development” so not a lot of information on this but I really do hope it is made. I adored this book trilogy!

This one isn’t even listed on imdb but I’ve found it listed a couple places as being “optioned.” I really hope it is made because I love this entire trilogy so much! I think it is a really great dystopian/futuristic fantasy. You can read my review for the book here.

These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner

Screen Shot 2015-07-13 at 1.27.50 PM

This is probably my favorite book that I’ve read this year (or maybe Illuminae) so I was pretty excited to hear that its been optioned to be made into a TV show. I’m really hoping it doesn’t fall through and that they do make it! I need more of Major Merendsen. You can read my review for the book here.

  1. Wow! Look at you being all up-to-date on what’s in-progress and going to be released soon! ^.^ That’s awesome! I had no idea that most of these were going to be made into movies, but now I know when I have to read them by. ^.^ (It also testifies to the probability that these are good books. ^.^)

  2. Yes to Under the Never Sky and These Broken Stars! I really liked these series and hope they become something on the screen so that I can get back into the stories. Also, Their Shattered World comes out so soon! I’m way excited!
