This page is a leftover from when this blog was a YA Book Blog I created as an assignment for my MSLIS. I’ve since converted it to my Librarian Blog but I’ve kept some of the old pages for now.
Need Recommendations?
On this page you can find two different things. First I’m going to include some of my personal recommendations for certain genres. I’ll link to them on amazon. I’ll divide these by Adult, and Young Adult categories. These are books I’ve personally read and would recommend because I personally enjoyed them. The second thing you can find here are other resources that you can use to find book recommendations, such as other websites.

I am always looking for reliable sources to find YA recommendations. There is so much out there and it’s sometimes difficult to sift through the “not so great” books. I am really happy I came across your blog 🙂 Science fiction YA is definitely top of my list so I will be adding these books to my TBR list. ! I just finished an awesome YA novel by author Trudie Hayes entitled “Convergence”(http://www.loveyourme.com/). Have you heard of it? The book follows three preteens on their first day of school and a series of “random” events that bring them together even though they couldn’t be any more different if they tried! It really is a unique read with a lot of surprising twists and really likable characters. It is a coming of age story that mixes science fiction (alternate realities) in a really cool way. I couldn’t put it down! Hope you will check it out (if you haven’t already!)

I don’t have the link right now but I recently blogged my spoiler-free review. Its like the coolest book I’ve ever read lol
